How to Renew Materials

Library cardholders may renew their own materials online. All materials may be renewed one time except for materials with "holds" and Feature Films.

How to:

1. Log in to My Account.

2. You should see a list of items checked out. If not, click the "Checked out Items" button under your contact information to view the materials you have checked out.

3. Select the materials you want to renew by checking the boxes in the RENEW column and then click the Renew Selected button. If you want to renew everything, click the Renew ALL button.

4. If any of the items you selected are not renewable, a message will appear on the screen. If the renewal is successful, a new due date will appear in the "STATUS" column. Always check the STATUS column for due date of your materials. Renewal period will be half of the time of the original checkout. All renewable items may be renewed within 7 days before the item is due. As of 5/21/2012, renewal date is calculated based on the due date.

PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for any overdue fines assessed to your account from the overdue date to the time of renewal. Overdue fines will be added to your account at the time of renewal for any overdue materials. For your convenience, fines can be paid online. Please see Fee Payment for more details.
