The Thousand Oaks Library subscribes to a variety of highly specialized electronic databases.
All of these resources may be used in the library, and many can be accessed from home via the Internet.

Online English/Spanish career research and educational planning tool. Features multimedia presentations detailing hundreds of careers.  

Chilton Auto Repair Manual Available everywhere with a library card
Model coverage includes 360 models from 2013 and 231 models from 2014, with a total of more than 17,000 models covered in Chilton's, dating back to 1940. (Best view in IE and Chrome)
 

Country Studies Recommended Web Resources
Published by Library of Congress, Country Studies offers previously published Country Studies/Area Handbooks and more up-to-date Country Profiles on select countries. This series presents a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions of countries throughout the world.  

Credo Reference Available everywhere with a library card
Includes full-text and cross-reference access to hundreds of reference works and articles. Credo is a general reference resource covering every major subject including art, business, geography, history and more. Topic pages are good starting points for any research project.
